What to name a baby boy?

Well we're having a baby boy. My boyfriend is black and I'm Mexican. I wanted a name that you could say in spanish and english that is not THAT common but not a weird name... I don't want David, Daniel and stuff like that. I like Lorenzo.. I've already asked this when my boyfriend wanted Brian or Jacob.

Anyway, we haven;t talked about it lately but I am almost due! He wanted to put his grandmothers last name which is Alexander as the babys last name. I said.. why don't we put Lorenzo Alexander? We had an agreement that I would name the boy and he would name the girl. He made this agreement himself and when he thought we were having a girl (He was hoping for one)... he wouldn't budge on the name always saying, I dont care I'll name her what I want, we had an agreement but come to find out we are having a boy, he wants to say, oh lets agree on something..

Isn't that sneaky? Anyway, everyone I know likes Lorenzo and he doesn't like it because it sounds too spanish.. I said... get with it since our baby will be mixed and be exposed to both cultures.. (We have other issues about this and all I say... who do you think you've been dating for the past 4 years?)

Anyway, if you have a name you can say in spanish and english, let me know. I don't dislike the names he picks out, its just that they're soooo common. Thanks!

Lorenzo is a good one, im Mexican and i too want my future wife and i to have a name that you can pronounce in spanish, Pick Lorenzo you wont regret it! ;)

It's interesting because the only Lorenzo I've ever met was a non-Hispanic black kid, but I do think it would be best to choose a name you both like.

Antonio, Marcello, Juan, Alejandro, Dimitri, Adrian, Fiolena, Graciela, Eduardo, Maurcio,Marcelino, NO DISRESPECT MEANT TO YOUR  BOYFRIEND! But I don't know that I know black names aren't they the same in God's ears?How about Jacob Alexzander? Brian Michilangelo,sorry, am not quite sure of the spelling,[but your boyfriend would have a name he wanted and you would have one you wanted??Hope these may of helped you![Sorry I only know God's names,black,white,mexican, spanish,etc they are all special in His eyes!]Congratulations! i think jacob lorenzo alexander is cute, but i would change the c to a k.

also Miguel Kaleb Alexander that way u could call him Miguel or Micheal

Micheal Javier Alexander means Micheal James

Jakob Carlos Alexander...i think the name Carlos is s**y and fun to say:-)

Dominic Jacob Alexander...you could call him Nic

I was trying to think of some however that is all I could come up with, it is not that easy to find a name that is not common however can be said in spanish and english.  good luck mommy 2 be and congrads on your little one!
