  1. If your coming to florida in december you first have to know where in florida you are going.  If you are going to Northern Florida, like Tallahassee or Jacksonville chances are that you will see 70's during the day and 40's at night.  So... a light jacket, or a hoodie will usually do the trick.  Jeans are definately necessary. Pack T-shirts in case its warmer.

If your going to South Florida, Ft. Lauderdale or Miami then t-shirts, shorts, jeans, whatever you want just make sure that you bring a light jacket or a sweatshirt in case we get one of those fluke coldsnaps that gives us 40's at night.  The days are usually 70's and low 80's. Those coldsnaps only come around like 3 times a year and everyone who retired here from up north whips out the furs.  Hillarious!

  2. It depends on where in FL.  The northern parts of the state can get fairly cool in December, though freezes are rare.  The southern parts of FL are reliably warm-ish (but not hot) during winter.

Best is to plan a basic wardrobe (including a sweatshirt or two) with the assumption the high temps will ba around 70F with lows in the 50s. Check the weather a few days in advance for exactly where you plan to go and be prepared to add some warmer clothes if needed.

  3. Good call already knowing to take a sweatshirt. It can get pretty cold at night in the winter there. Bring capri's or shorts, just a pair or two because some day's can get pretty warm still. Don't forget a cute bathing suite! Even if you can't swim outside there's still pools. :-)
