What to pack for a weekend away?

What do you pack when you go away for a weekend?

(I'm going away with my boyfriend & his family for a weekend)

any suggestions?

Toilet paper, gas medicine, condoms, earplugs, deodorant, condoms, toothpaste, toothbrush, Boy Scout manual, condoms, dog food, kitty food, water, porta-potti, condoms, a folding sink, water treatment tablets, a canoe...

casual wear for around the house

bathroom necessities

and  don't forget your underpants

clean undergarments, pajamas, clothes, shoes, shampoo, soap, loofah, tooth brush, towel, feminine products (if needed), uhh condoms, favorite pillow hmm i think that's it...they should have everything else...have fun! :D

A sweatshirt or sweat jacket in case it gets cool

Dress clothes in case you go out, bring at least 2

Sneakers/flip flops/ dress shoes

Socks

Pajamas (his parents will be there, wear them!)

Shampoo and conditioner

Razor

Shower gel and loofah

Hair products and accessories

Curling iron/flat iron

Hair brush, comb, etc

Toothbrush, toothpaste, floss

Make-up

Make-up remover

Neosporin and band-aids, just in case!

Any medications you take

Aspirin

Cotton balls, tweezers, nail clippers, etc

Watch

Sunglasses

Sunblock

Aloe Vera in case you get sun-burned

Perfume

Robe

Bathing suit, if going swimming

Bathing suit cover up

Towels for the beach, if going to one

Go through what you use on an average day and write it down.  Then, as you pack it, check it off the list so you know you have it.

I would leave your good jewelry at home, you don't want to risk losing it.

For things that can leak, like toothpaste, put it cap first in a ziplock bag, wrap the remainder of the bag around it and close with a rubber band, this way if it opens, it opens IN the bag and NOT all over your suitcase!  Then you can also put your perfume and make up remover and things in a ziplock bag too so if those open, they open in the bags and not all over your clothes, etc.

You can also bring plastic grocery bags for your dirty underwear, wet bathing suit, etc.

If your boyfriend's parents are your hosts for the weekend, make sure to bring them something to say thank you.  A bottle of wine, flowers when you return, something just to show your appreciation with a nice thank you card.  They'll really appreciate it.
