I am going to camp Timber Trails... its in MA

its very very much like camping... no electricity in cabins, you have to pull a chain down constantly to keep water coming out of the shower.... u can only wash 1 hand at a time at the sinks.... bugs in toilets/shower.... as you can see its not high class AT ALL. very very minimal. i am going end of july-beginning of august. the walk ways throught the camp are also rocky and bumpy and such. no pavement. also we have to swim in a lake (it does have leeches) also we do have campfires. we usually sleep in cabings made of wood with many cracks in the floor/door/wall. with screen windows. but there are a few nights where we sleep in a field in a tent just for fun.

what do i need to pack?? a checklist would be very very helpful. if you need addition details say so. please put in the amount of things, and such. 10 POINTS!!

please be as specific as possible!!!!

  1. Here's a camping checklist, and I'll also add a link that brings you to a page about a holiday by car:

    Have fun!

  2. i go to a camp exactly like this every summer.

i always pack 3 shirts/pairs of shorts for every 2 days because things get wet, dirty, etc.

one or two long sleeve t-shirts for a cold night

    sweatshirt

    sweatpants

    blanket/sleeping bag

    sheets

    pillow

    PJs

    flip flops/shower shoes

    water shoes/sperrys/crocs

    tennis shoes

some sort of crate or bag for shower toiletries

    bath towels

    beach towels

    any medications

flashlight with batteries, and it is also a good idea to bring a lantern and string to hang up because those cabins are pitch black as soon as the sun goes down

    socks

    bathing suits

    camera

    raincoat/poncho

    hat/visor

    pocket knife if allowed

    hair products

    shampoo

    soap

    razor

    bug spray and sunscreen

(if you're a girl) hair ties

    bruch/comb

    nail clippers

    deodorant

    toothbrush/paste

    mirror

    battery powered fan

    sunglasses

book or something to keep yourself busy during down time

rope and clothes pins to dry stuff on

some sort of raid or bug repellent to spray around the door frame and cracks in the floor (i like to think it helps keep some bugs out)

and i would also bring something for each of the kids in your cabin sort of to start things off o nthe right foot i guess
