  1. Hi, Summer clothes, for the cruise on the Seine River, if you go in the evening take a warm clothe, a light jacket,

Sometimes the beginning of Summer is rainy, take an umbrella, Welcome in Paris.

  2. Four years ago, I studied in Paris for a couple of weeks at the end of May till the middle of June.  It was nearly 95 degrees fahrenheit every day!  Take lightweight, easy care, blended fabric clothes, with a light jacket or sweater or two in case the evening or early morning is chilly.

Make sure to take clothes that all go together so that you can mix and match with ease.  When I travel, I tend to pack predominately grey or black, with a few colorful shirts to add variety.  That would get a bit boring if you're staying a long time, but for a 10-day or shorter trip, it works great.

I hand wash soiled clothes when I take them off and hang them up in the bathroom to dry.  Where I stayed in Paris, there were laundromats nearby, but my command of French wasn't good enough to figure out how to operate the machines.  I might give it a try this fall, though, since I've been studying French for two years now.

Also, always always always take an umbrella when you go to Paris.

As for where to go...the one place I go every time I travel to Paris is Notre Dame.  I also really like walking through the parks and gardens (Palais Royal, Jardin des Plantes, and Luxembourg garden for example).  If you can, you should try to visit at least one museum.  I prefer the Musee d'Orsay, but you can googe Paris museums and get a huge list from which to choose.  I love going to the top of the Eiffel tower after dark
