We will be leaving on Friday Morning, Staying the night at a church in New Mexico, and Arriving on Saturday Night to a church in Nogales, AZ, We will leave, I think, on Friday in the Afternoon but we might leave on Saturday Morning. It will be during the monsoon season (when it rains A LOT!!) We will be doing VBS and I need to know what to pack!!!

We will be getting 3 shirts there (probably) to wear while teaching VBS but I also need stuff to wear afterwards!

It is VERY hot (unless monsoons starts) But it's not very humid!

We will be go to Tucson, AZ to visit. (My family, my dad's the pastor, use to live there)

  1. gun ,knife and poison,.. and lots of pesos.!!!

  2. long sleeve shirts and pants.  I know it is hot,  but you don't want a 2nd degree sunburn.  Also,  the cloth will protect your skin from overheating.  Think linen, not cotton.

Bring a hat with a wide brim and sunglasses.  Also sunscreen (for under your long sleeved shirt and pants) as well as bug spray.

Whenever you take of your shoes,  make sure you shake them out before you put them back on.  You don't want to put your foot in a shoe with a scorpion in it.

Get a 1 quart Nalgene bottle and keep it filled with water.  You will be drinking a TON of water.  It is a lot more humid in Oklahoma,  so the weather will feel different.  With no humidity you may not realize how hot it is until you pass out.  Try not to overexert yourself.

    And have fun.  :)
