I have a kid wanting to make money for chores. I'm not sure what chores to give him and what to pay him for them. He is currently 12 and turning 13 in a month and half.

  1. well depends on the job maybe to make things easier on yourself just give him a certain amount of hores for a week and then give him an allowence maybe 5-10 dollars

  2. for vacumming i would say about 2 dollars

for washing and drying the dishes 5

    for doing laundry 8

other odd jobs should range from 1-10 depending on how hard or easy the job is

  3. If he lives in the house, nothing. Don'y pay him per chore. Because by no means do u owe him for cleaning up his own living space. He is at an age where he should be responsible for some of the housework. What you can do is instead of paying per chore, give him a list of chores that are his , like taking out the trash keeping room clean, cleaning table after dinner, whatever. If he does all of that then he will get his allowance, not: I'm gonna deduct $10 because you didnt do the trash on mon and fri. Make him do it all the time and he will be a better housekeeper for himself wehn leaving your home. All or nothing that's how it should be

  4. about 30 a week ik i get 50 a week but u might not want to give them that much

  5. My 13 year old takes out the garbage, mows the lawn and does the dishes. He gets payed per chore, $5 for the garbage and dishes and $20 for the front lawn (its a very large lawn) and $15 for the back lawn (which is also quite large but the work is shared by his other brother). If he does not do some of the work, I deduct. So thats $40 total and he usually does all these chores in the summer. In the winter, since he is not mowing, I pay him for snow removal each storm.

But I have one policy. For every $40 he makes, $10 goes in his bank account. This is his account for things he may want when he is older or wants now. He is getting quite good at banking!

I did this with my other kids as well, and they each thanked me because they were never broke.

  6. I'd say $15-30, what I usually get for doing chores, and depending on the chores I do.

  7. mow the lawn  5$

    wash dishes 5$

    sweep3$

    keep rooom clean7$

things like that you can always hihger or lower the amount

  8. well i would say give him a set list of chores for the week and say they need to be done by Friday then when he completes them them give him 20.00 every Friday and when u give him money don't give him a 20.00 bill give him like a 10 and two 5's cuz they he might want to spend the 10 and keep the 5's insted of using the full 20

  9. Washing Dishes, Cleaning Yards, Mowing Lawns, Etc...Etc...

5 to 25 dollars allowance... HOPE THIS HELPS.......
