What to people think of this 'Emo Protest' that happened London?

i read this article not long ago and thought was it the right thing to do or did it claim a worse label for emos, i dont know. Just wanted peoples opinions on it. And if you emo - Even better, please write your views.

Well I'm not "Emo", people call me emo though.

I'm fine with everyone who wants to be emo. But some people just take it too far. I mean what's with the suicide?  Read: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emo it says Emo is all about music and stuff.

I just think its funny how they all claim to be compete individuals whilst all looking exactly the same.  I used to work with a woman who was a proper goth and she used to call them 'doom cookies'.  

They do make themselves look like little bratty kids stamping their foot.  If they like something fine, the Daily Mail is always going to be talking rubbish anyway.

Never mind poverty or war, we should all protest about the negative image of My Chemical Romance.  It's what their record company would want.
