What to put into a work experiance letter? Am in the UK.?

I am hoping to go to either The Body Shop or Boots for my work experience.

What do I need to put in the letter that I write to them asking for a placement?

What reasons are there to go to these places for work experience?

i done work xperience not that long ago all you ned to put down is your qualifications, what you enjoy doing and what you hope to do in the future really also out down what subjects your doing in school.

Paragraph 1: Explain the reason for writing and who you are.

Paragraph 2: Further details, eg how long placement is for and what you require of them.

Paragraph 3: Contact at your school (eg teacher or careers advisor) as well as copy of any official letter from the school about these activities.

Paragraph 4: Closing statements, thanks for their time and signature.

It's important to enclose any details from your school or college and if you're under 16 I'd suggest contact details for your parents/guardians as well.

We're doing that at the moment but I'm going on holiday that week so I don't get to do it. We had to write a bit about ourselves our hobbies and what we wanted to do in teh future. I can't remember much else sorryx
