What to put on an air mattress to stop a leak? It is a soft top?

We have a mattress we have been sleeping on until our bed comes in and I was sittin on it and just found a whole on the top part. I don't know what I can put on it because it is soft felt on top so I just put some tape on it for now is there something I can use besides vinyl glue for it?

Vinyl cement and a vinyl patch is about the only thing I know of that will work.

Because of the flocking, you may need to remove it from an area around the hole - large enough to expose the vinyl to the cement with minimal flocking to get in the way.   How to remove it is going to be tricky - I would use some medium grit sandpaper.       Of course you can try it without removing the flocking, but if it interferes with the patch, it might be a bigger mess to try to fix it afterwards.

most air mattresses come with a patch kit.  If you can't find yours, try a bike shop for some inner tube repair kit stuff.  It's a patch and some adhesive designed for these things.
