What to put on my cats neck area for scratching?

What do i use.....i tried hydro cortisone cream...but shes always scratching her neck area leaving little scabs....went to the vet like 6 months ago and he though it was anxiety from our recent move....well she cleared up..but no as been at it again for like 2 weeks!! maybe a food allergy.....but i need to know what to use to relieve her itch!

Yes. I am guessing a food allergy, I am guessing you are feeding dry foods and will tell you that grain free canned foods would be best





Nutrition since there are so many bad things out there is very important to your cat’s health

Contrary to what you may have heard; dry foods are not a great thing to feed a cat.

Please read the label on what you are feeding? What are the ingredients? Do you know what they mean? Is the first ingrediant a muscle meat like chicken or meal or other things?

You want to pick a canned food w/o gravy (gravy=carbs) that uses a muscle meat as the first ingredient and doesn't have corn at least in the first 3 ingredients if at all.    The best food for cats does not contain any grains at all.

Fancy feast is a middle grade food with 9lives, friskies  whiskas lower grade canned and wellness and merrick upper grade human quality foods. I would rather feed a middle grade canned food then the top of the line dry food.

FIRST OF ALL DO NOT USE HUMAN MEDICATIONS ON CATS!  Unless a vet says it's ok.

Some meds like asprin can kill a cat

Try camomile tea... make a stong tea and then rub it on.

There IS  a bug that is called a no-see-um... it's real and it bites like crazy!

If your cat goes outside this might be what is causing it to scratch.
