  1. I'd say:

"Parents, I've done a lot of stupid things with YOUR house and made some bad decisions but I've decided to change and be quite a bit more mature starting today."

Plus putting a soda in the freezer is a good way to make a big mess.

  2. Lie and Deny - Did right by putting a Pepsi in there. LOL

  3. sit them down and ask them if they saw it. You need to own up to what happened, the longer you wait the worse it can become, and the angrier the parents get. They may surprise you in their reaction.

  4. "Must've been seeing things" might work, I'd imagine if they saw it and were going to be pissed about it you would have heard about it by now.  It's not like most people come home after traveling and catalog the freezer of all things.  Just casually go and drink the Pepsi (if it hasn't burst) in front of one of them, say it was warm and you forgot about it.

  5. Firstly, hopefully the beer was in a can as otherwise you are dealing with broken glass and beer exploded and frozen all through your freezer.

Blaming your parents age and that they were mistaken is a good idea... but risking lying to them is pretty bad too. Don't say anything unless they ask... and if they do,it the consequences of lying and saying they imagined it are better than admitting to it and being thrown out then that is what you have to do. If your parents are reasonable people they should appreciate you admitting to it straight away and not lying and therefore not throw you out.

    Good Luck!

  6. Putting a Pepsi in it's place will just make you look sneaky. If they saw it, they saw it. The only thing you can tell them is a friend was drinking it, and you told them to put it away because you don't allow drinking in the house. It's worth a try.

  7. Brian is right-I'd say:

"Parents, I've done a lot of stupid things with YOUR house and made some bad decisions but I've decided to change and be quite a bit more mature starting today."

Plus putting a soda in the freezer is a good way to make a big mess.

I did this when I took the car for a ride @ 14. I was a very good driver but that is not the point of course. I went home and told my mother (always good idea to go to mom first : ). She did tell pops and we had a talk. No problem as they were impressed that I came to them first-without lies.

    Just tell the truth.

  8. If your parents put anything from their trip in the freezer, or you thing they might have seen the beer, I'd own up to it. But if they haven't said anything about it yet, I would just find a place to ditch the beer and forget about it. Denial is the key to alcoholism!

  9. My mother always taught me, weather you are guilty or innocent of something, just remain quiet. It will keep your dignity intact.

Just be thankful it didn't explode and hit the freon tubing in the freezer ~ rendering the freezer useless, like what happened when I was a teenager.

  10. I know it is a lie, but tell them someone else must have put it there and you know nothing about it.  Its the only way, and besides they can't prove you put it in there.

  11. Oh, my God, my wife hates it when I put beer in the freezer. I always get schnockered and forget about 1 or 2 then they freeze and leak. Oh, well.
