What to say to sound friendly?

some of my friends stopped being my friends recently...i dont know why

and so school starts in a week!! i dont know what to say to people thatll make them like me more. also, to new kids, what should i say to make them like me, and want to hang out with me??

just be yourself. Some people will like you, others dislike you, and others hate you, that's just how it goes. There's no magic words to make everybody like you. And nobody likes to be friends with phonies, or people who make out to be something they're not. Also, about your friends who quit being your friend, good ridence with them. You should only want to be friends with people who genuinely want to be friends with you. As time goes by, you will gain friends and lose friends, but the true friends are hard to find and those are the ones you wanna keep. Anyone who dumps your friendship is not a true friend. Only someone who likes you for exactly who you are is a true friend, someone who will be by your side whether you are righ or poor, beautiful and ugly.

You are not in Drama school or the advertising business. Do your own thing.  If you feel genuinely friendly towards someone, you will come up with the right thing to say or do without even being aware of it. If you don't feel friendly, leave them alone.  We seem to be able to recognize sucks or con-artists at a very young age.

Act normal, dont act like you are trying too hard because that puts people off and pushes them away.  Be confident...and that will start with the way you talk to yourself (positive things), and will show through the things you do (doing things well-like school, sports, music, whatever), and then portraying a confident guy through your style (hair, clothes, etc.).

I think you should show the new kids around the school.  Also, don't act weird (like talking weirdly or anything like that).
