  1. sagrada familia - large cathedral

    go to the park near the water that has all the mosaic tiles on sculptures.

    the 'ramblas' is a large market street, and is v.busy but i must say not that exciting - also known for mugging!!

    MUST try the tapas - delicious!!!!

    there is also a fountain jsut outside the city, on a bit of a mountain (the name escapes me sorry) but that is pretty cool too....

    have fun and be careful of bag snatchers!!


  2. The beach is great, we always went to Barceloneta, its easy to get there as there is a train stop with that name. Sagrada Familia and Casa Mila (although you cant get into casa mila) but there are great works by Gaudi. Take a nice walk on Las Ramblas which is a walk away from the beach, cute shops and nice restaurants, and on the weekend there are street performers. There is also the Pablo Picasso Museum.
