  1. you sell whatever you want to sell. it's not complicated.

  2. Yourself

  3. Whatever you think won't sale will go first!

  4. cloth,shoes,tables,chairs,clocks,compute... lots of things tvs, lots

  5. Anything you want to get rid of...........

  6. Anything and everything you don't want any more and want to get rid of.

Make Big signs that way ppl come and look at your garage sale you can also put some cookies and water out that way they wont be able to resist.

  7. Anything you have not worn or used in over a year.

  8. Just remember one man's junk is another man's treasure, but price it low enough to get rid of it, but high enough to make it worth you while of having a garage sell.

  9. What NOT to sell at a rummage sale someone is more likely to ask. You should NOT sell any unpackaged food, medications or beauty products such as make-up. There may be restrictions in your city if animals are for sale, like puppies or kittens. Once your sale has begun, do not leave your money unattended. Have one other person watch the customers for any thefts or tag-switching. Cover with a sheet or tablecloths any tools, ladders or other items NOT for sale. Provide plastic bags or paper bags for your sales. If you are asked the question, "So, are you moving?" just ignore that question or say to that person...."and your reason for asking is-- " That person may return and burgle your home.... Be safe. Display clean items well, and have a box of FREE items, like little toys or hangers, or whatever. Use colored stickers and indicate the prices plainly. Offer to wrap in newspaper the glassware or breakable things. Customers appreciate special attention, and a pleasant person to deal with. If you are not up to bargaining with anyone, say that "I am not allowed to change or lower the price on that item," if you are quite certain that you can get the price you are asking. Those people may just give you what your item is tagged after all. (Stand your ground.)

Another neighbor or friend might go in on the sale with you and keep you company during the sale. This is very helpful especially if there are many items. Be knowledgeable and able to answer questions on the fitness equipment settings or whatever needs to be explained. The night before the sale look up on EBAY and compare prices that you have in mind for the larger items.

    I hope this was helpful!

One who's had a few sales herself

  10. Usually everything you wanna get rid of.

Clothes, shoes, toys, appliances, furniture...the list can go on forever.

  11. I would sell gently used clothing if you have kids toys they never play with or clothes they have grown out of hope this helps!!!

  12. Anything! Everyone who attends a garage sale looks for different things. Some movies, some ornaments, etc. I wouldn't put clothes in one though because they aren't that good of a seller unless your confident that someone would buy them. Don't put in stuff that's about to fall apart put in something that is in somewhat good shape.
