Question:

What to send in a package to Ireland?

I am wanting to send a friend of mine in Ireland a package. I'd like to be able to send her things that we have here in the U.S. that she may not have over there. However, I'm at a complete loss.

I know their cake icing is different from ours, so I'm going to send some of that to her lol.

Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

  1. My bf is American and he sent me a package like that. He put in an American football, American chocolate, American magazines, an American flag (lol), sports clothes would be a good idea like basketball, baseball & american football aren't really popular here so I find that kinda stuff cool!

  2. Chocolate in America is much less sweeter than the Chocolate in Ireland. You could send her something from Macy's if you're near it.

    = )

  3. Guinness beer and potatoes

  4. weve got loads of different types of icing here...weve got everything you have in the US (just different brands of things) Is she from the US? well if she is you can send her something in particular that she might miss ? or else something personal

  5. I sent a similar care package to a friend in Scotland:

Advil (can't get it there and it's particularly helpful after a night out).

Gum - there are different varieties in the U.S.

Peanut butter and Jelly - also taste different in the U.S.

    Reese's Peanut Butter cups

American coffee (if she likes coffee)

Hot chocolate mix (the kind you make in the microwave)

Ask her to bring you back some Galaxy chocolate.. there's nothing like it in the U.S.!
