  2. For the most part I agree with Beanz. A book, cards, and a couple of travel games. Some people like to have a beer, or 2, by the campfire, but if the weather is bad  you probably won't have much of a fire going. Definatly bring rain gear and a tarp.

  3. www.lovetheoutdoors.com/camping/Checklis...

    It's a good online checklist

Make sure that you don't forget sleeping bags and your tent

  4. How strange... why do people assume that you have to get drunk to enjoy camping "take plenty of booze".

Might be too late but here are a few sensible ideas:

Obviously enough clothes for 6 days, to cover all weathers so T shirts, shorts, long trousers and a jumper. Depending on what you do in the evenings you might want something smarter to wear, and a spare set

    Sleeping bag

Sleeping mat ('Karrimat', or air bed)

    Waterproof jacket

Bumming about shoes or wellies - something you can slip on at 2 in the morning to go to the toilet

    Toiletries

    Towel

A small first aid kit - plasters, pain relief, sting relief....

Are you having to pack the actual camping equipment too?

In which case you will need:

    A tent

A stove with a couple of burners

    Perhaps a camp kitchen thing

    Cutlery, plates, mugs, bowls

    Cooking utensils,

    Food and drink

    Cool box and ice blocks

Map of how to get there

Cant think of other things at the moment though there are loads you could consider

  5. wellies, loo roll, plenty of socks are the most important.

good book, pack of cards, travel bingo and plenty of booze, the last two go together very well.

  6. hiya if you are in the uk then take umbrella/welly boots/rain mac.its forecast rain all over the bank holiday.take a pac of cards plenty of booze.that's if you are old enough.fizzy if your not.plenty of magazines.sp3.music

  7. A two finger bag of prime Colombian. After that, you wont care about the crappy weather, bug bites, wet underwear, or squatting' in the thorns.

    Rum is good, too.

  8. take both warm and hot clothes shorts pants etc. Take a hammer, pans, cooking spray, lots of food, a can opener, flashlights, pie irons, foil, plastic wrap, cooler, bug spray, sunscreen, axe, backpacks, water bottles
