Question:

What to take on eurocamp holiday? we are going to messanges-le vieux port.

my husband, 2 kids and i are going to south west of france for 2 weeks. we are taking 24hr ferry from plymouth to santander, then driving the rest. we are staying in one of their tents and they provide a lot of essentials. anyone got any advice on things to take? or has anyone else been to above site and if so, what was it like.

  1. Ive just got back from camping in the south of France, we didnt stay with eurocamp but have before.  They provide most things like plates cutlery stove etc.  We forgot to take torches and had to buy them there - i suppose with kids u can never have enough.  Also driving through France you have to have certain things in your car now - a hi vis jacket, a triangle thing in case you brake down a first aid kit and stickers for your headlamps as you're driving on the other side of the road. I know its the law but i dont know how enforced it is.  We didnt have any and so ended up spending a fortune on the ferry :( hth x*x
