  1. Also come prepared with an extra kidney or a few limbs as you will need to give some up when you run out of money, and I believe these are in high demand ;-)

And you have to get some strawberries and cream - sacrilege if you go there and don't try this.

Have a ball whilst you're there.

  2. 1) A nice warm coat and an umbrella for a start as rain is forecast for next week. And a sun hat in case it's hot.

    2) Take your own food because it's expensive in the ground.

    3) Take lots of money or a credit/debit card with you as London is so expensive.

    4) Decent shoes as you'll be doing a lot of walking (it's a big place).

    5) A camera. At Wimbledon you're very close to the players, both on and off court, so you never know who you might bump into, especially near the practice courts.

  3. Take a credit card, and a lot of money.  London is even more expensive than New York!

Also, people like to wear hats over there for some reason.  I'd take a hat in the unlikely event that it's not raining and the sun is out.

  4. Bring or borrow a good SLR camera, preferably with a zoom lens for close-ups, and several rolls of fast speed films [400 ASA]. This will help you take crisp, and clear, fast action shots of your favorite players especially during critical points or serves during their matches.

Great for your memorabilia and souvenirs.

For regular and sightseeing shots, use slower or medium speed film [50-100-200 ASA].
