  1. Please, please find another way to do a good deed.  Your question has several grammatical errors.  Let her learn from someone a little older so she won't have to unlearn bad habits.

P.S. - the correct way to phrase this question:

I'm an 18 year old girl.  I will soon begin tutoring a 16 year old girl from Hong Kong in English.  Since this is my first experience as a tutor, I have no idea how or what to teach during the session.  I need professional and experienced advice.  Thanks.

  2. I worked as a writing and English tutor for about a year in college.  It depends a lot on her current knowledge level.

If she speaks some English, your best bet is to engage her in conversation.  Listen to her speak, and speak to her.  Make her begin using her English regularly, watching English movies and television and reading English books.  You can do some grammar drills (try here http://a4esl.org/q/h/grammar.html or here: http://www.englishclub.com/grammar/index... ) and vocabulary-improving exercises / lists, but really she's going to get the most out of talking a lot, hearing you talk, and being able to ask you questions.

If she speaks no English, then have her get a basic English textbook and begin working through that, incorporating conversation as much as possible.
