What to try next for swimming pool?

A little history, my pool is super green with leaves on the bottom. My pool people told me to do algeacide, shock, and then add Drop Out. We did this before and I seem to think by day 3 we had seen some progress.. Has anyone used this? Day 3 should I see progress? Anyone know anything else? I'm thinking about restarting the pump getting shock and vacuuming it to waste....

Yeah that happened to our pool as well. It's an above ground pool so it's really near the trees. And yes, you may not see the results the first day and I got kind of worried. But the next day or so, I was astonished to see a vibrant blue pool. Good luck and hope you see the same results.

It should work fine as long as you removed all the debris first. but if it remains the pool is going to get cloudy or green again too fast.
