What to use for oily skin?

i have always had oily combinition skin. i use a powder foundation because liquid is even worst. i put on my makeup and 30 minutes it seems to already come off, and no product is different. is there a product or a lotion i can use to make my face less oily and it cant be to expensive

  1. I have oily skin also, so I'll tell you what I do. I wash my face with a cleanser (I like that Morning Burst from Clean & Clear, but any liquid cleanser should work). Then I apply a powder made by Covergirl. I find that as long as I don't touch my face too much, it lasts for a few hours (about 3-4). It's not terribly expensive. I think I got it for $7, and it lasts a fairly long time. Like any powder, it obviously doesn't last forever, so it has to be reapplied every few hours (which is still much better than 30 mins!).


  2. I had oily skin as well, but what I use is an oil mattifier made by mary kay. It's about $10 for a .6 oz tube. What you do is wash your face, apply you moistuizer and then use the mattifier in the areas prone to excess oil. You don't need alot but it works all day and you can apply makeup over it if you want but you probably won't need to. You could also look into oil absorbing papers. You can find them at most any drug store right in the makeup isle.
