What to use instead of a <span title="BACKPACK??????????????????">BACKPACK?????????????????...</span>

Question

I'm starting High School in the fall, and I don't know if I want to carry a backpack or not. Could I get by with a tote? Or is it okay to carry a backpack?

a tote is cute but not practical. everything might spill over and its not a good thing to start a high school with everyone knowing all the things you have in your purse.

i really liked the messenger bags...the ones that you can wear over your shoulder, criss cross. i purchased one for my friends bday at Payless and its the American Eagle brand. Some have really cool designs and colors. you can find them everywhere.

personally, I think that tote bags or over the shoulder bags look better than a back pack. but sometimes you might need the extra room. If I were you, I&#039;d carry a tote, and  keep a backpack in my locker in case i had a lot of homework and books to carry.

consider a messenger bag.  they hang to one side and hold lots of stuff.  or a sling bag.  its like a backpack but with only one strap that just goes across your front.  i am quite a bit older than you but have kids in junior high.  to tell you the truth a lot of the kids i see are using packs that have wheels on them and a handle that drops inside itself like a younger/casual version of a luggage bag.  whatever you choose...its better than carrying the stuff in your hands.

I&#039;d go with a cute tote. Wal-mart has nice ones.
