I really don't want to get an ipod...

I teach yoga & want to record some of my classes. I was looking at voice recorders or even a flip camcorder (pretty neat)... any suggestions. I would like to stick in the $100 range - preferably lower.

any suggestions... there's a sight where you can upload this

video formats: which should include audio, a .mov or .mp4 file

audio formats: .mp3 file

any suggestions???

the site recommends the ipod (don't have one - so additional costs + the tune talk to record)

  1. RecordForAll - http://www.recordforall.com  was voted the best audio software for 2007

Give RecordForAll a try you can overlay tracks and add effects.

  2. MP3 is just for audio. MP4 is audio and video.

I don't think it can be done for less than a few hundred. But you can claim it on your taxes as a business expense. The problem with cheaper recorders is that it will only be audio, and will  sound like you are on the telephone.

You could make very short videos on a cell phone or a digital camera like the Canon Powershot, and string them together in an editing program. The editing program will cost you money as well.
