Question:

What to use to remove and control unwanted weeds/grass?

Hello,

In my front yard in between our plants and trees is a large amount of unwanted greenery, which actually looks like medium-sized blades of grass. There are other weeds in there too, but the grass is much more difficult to remove (i.e. can’t just pull it out). So – how should I go about weed/grass control… spray, landscape fabric under the bark, other? Also, is there a particular tool that I can use to remove the weeds/grass that is there now? Thank you!

  1. you can use round up.,, this will kill both grass and weeds there is other variations of vegetation killer that will last much longer example "ortho ground clear guarantee's's a year ,if it is a flower bed/garden area once you have the unwanted weeds out you can apply a product called  preen this will help prevent weeds from coming back.If you spray these chemicals just make sure that you aviod contact with the other plants or shrubs or you will have to rinse off with water. If you wanted a hand tool  not sure on the name other than its a deweeding tool, but it looks like a snakes tongue.gl

  2. pour vinegar around the base of the weeds it should work just fine
