  1. there is medicine for it. you can get it at walmart. and i would do it fast. it is one of the most common sicknesses for fish and will kill them. you should probably clean the tank too.

  2. Be careful when treating your tank. Cories are very sensitive to medications, especially those containing Copper Sulfate or Malachite Green. Most of the medications mentioned in the answers before mine are NOT SAFE for cories. Wardley makes a great medication that is safe for cories called "Ick Out Sensitive" (can be found at Petco stores or online) http://www.petco.com/product/102867/Ward... I have used this product and it works very well, and my cories were not harmed by it because it is specially formulated for sensitive fish like cories.

Also, DO NOT use any aquarium salt because cories do not tolerate it well and it is harmful to them. Do raise the temperature in the tank to around 78*F or 80*F, this will help get rid of the ick.

  3. raise your temp up to about 82 or 83 slowly, and add freshwater aquarium salt.  Do this and if you do not see an improvement in the next two days, go to a medication sold at your fish store.

  4. I use kick-ich by ruby reef.  If you want to spend the money you should get rally as well to help prevent secondary infections.

  5. I usually don't use medicines...as mentioned earlier raise the water temp and add salt to the water..this should do it...I've never had a problem with that...without having to use chemicals.

  6. i use qu-ich cure. just treat the entire tank, this helps prevent the spread of the disease. ich is a stress disease, so you might search the web about stress reducers, aquarium salt helps too, fresh water fish can tolerate some salt in their tank, and it reduces stress, which increases their slime coat, preventing ich and other parasites. look into it, almost any place that sells fish will sell an ich cure of some sort, as well as  aquarium salt, just follow their instructions

  7. You can use medications such as Rid-ich or Aquarisol. Personally i like aquarisol. (you would add 12 drops per 10 gallons) and do water changes. You'd normally find this in local fish stores.

Another option you can do is to increase the heat and salt. There's plenty of info out there about this heat and salt treatment but these are teh most commonly used ich treatments. good luck!
