What to use when cleaning your blinds?

my blinds are really dirty. what can i use to clean them?

I take my blinds down, take them outside and hook them on a couple of nails, spray them with "Greased Lightning" and use the spray nozzle from my garden hose to rinse them. It works great!!!

Any soap and water mixtures does well, maybe add a bit if bleach for PVC or faux wood horizontals.  If cleaning real wood, dry quickly.

For fabric blinds use a vac or wisk broom.  I've head of people taking fabric blinds down, and putting them in the washer, but I don't reccommend it.  50/50 chance they will be ruined.
