I think I know what you mean u want to know what to watch out for if you get a stray cat I would watch for fleas, crust around the eyes and black in it's ears it could mean it has a disease or it is sick make sure to take strays to a vet and make sure you get them fixed so u don't go to sleep and wake up with 80 million kittens

foaming at the mouth is a good sign that something may not be quite right with that perticular stray. better wait for another one to come along.
