What to wear at a private golf course?

Tomorrow I'm going golfing at a private course and I have never been golfing before. I don't know what to wear!! I always dress fashionable and I'm so not even close to being sporty. I'm not even sure I own sneakers! I never wear my hair in a ponytail and I don't wear khaki capris or collared shorts... Can anyone tell me what I could wear that won't make me feel like I'm trying to hard or make me feel uncomfortable? I want to be appropriate but still fashionable... Oh and I have two tattoos on my arms, small but they're still there... should they be covered? (long sleeve polo? but, I think it's going to be hot outside tomorrow)

on most golf courses you'll need a collared shirt and SMART trousers/shorts. If your really unsure go down to the golf club today and ask someone there what you can wear, different courses have different dress codes. possibly go down today in something you might wear and ask if it would be acceptable. go down early tomorrow and check that what your wearing would be o.k, if its not you've got more time to get changed

wear cargo or dressy pants if your wearing a skirt make sure its at leat down to your knees wear a polo tshirt
