What to wear for Resort Casual Cocktail Party?

My husband and I have been invited to a resort casual cocktail party that requests we wear resort casual white attire. The only white clothes I own are a pair of white capris pants. I thought about wearing that along with a nice top. Will this be sufficient for the party?

Well all white is pretty stark...I would mix it up with textures...wear a pretty lacey top or even a cute tank and blouse outfit (or bring a white shawl)  in case it's chilly later.  You can accentuate it with some nice accessories like clear  (crystal) jewellery or pearls, etc.

Don't forget a fashionable pair of white sunglasses too.

What is your poor hubby going to wear!!?? I bet he is moaning and groaning.

You could pull it off if you have a dressy top and wear heals to the event.

I think that is sufficient... White capris and maybe a pretty white shirt or blouse?  Accent with black or white costume jewelry!  Have fun!  Sounds like a great time!

Oh yes!  Throw in some shiney jewelry or a shiney belt and sandals!   Silver looks great with all white clothing!

White capris are perfect! perhaps some metallic sandals? Pastel colored top? Huge sunglasses?

Hubby should get by in khaki pants and a nice polo shirt.
