Volleyball try-outs are in a week, and over the holidays, I received tight black shorts, as well as black knee pads for volleyball. Both of these things are made by nike and are called nike fit. There is this nike fit black sleeveless top at Sportchek, that I think I should get. Do you think it will look good?

  1. yeah...

  2. o be honest I don't think a sleeveless shirt would be good. All you really needs is a pair of good knee pads a paair of black spandex and a big cotton t shirt. Also a pair of long white socks if you wear ankle protective gear

  3. I like Nike Dri-Fit.

Just wear whatever you feel comfortable to your games, and most teams would want to you buy new team jersey+shorts once you are on the team.

  4. Yeh i think it would be fine. It should be very comfortable. But, if your going style wise it may be a little to much black.

  5. Personally, I wouldn't recoment the Nike Fit black shirt. I like to wear t-shirts when I play, just because it is loose and comfortable. Also, I would recomend ankle supports. This depends on what position you are planning on playing. If you are trying out to be a front row player, it is easy to land wrong on your ankles when hitting the ball, but if you are planning to be a back row player, then these are not quite as necessary. Good Luck at the tryouts!

  6. Yeah...that's a lot like what I wear for practice. I usually only wear spandex when I'm in a game though....some loose shorts might be better just for practice.

  7. 1st impression!

I am a coach. So, I give you these tips about the philosophy.

First of all, we can train your skills and become the best player but we can not make you learn.

therefore, dress like a pro. indicates you want to be the best "learn". 2nd, smiles and cheer others players, that indicates you are a mental topness (that show personallity). 3rd, aggressive "go to the ball" event a lose ball.
