What to wear?? help!?

i want to go rock/goth with a waist coat and a tartan blouse can i? lol..i mean would it work.. if i can..any ideas how to finish the look..wat kinda skirt can i wear or jeans? hair n make-up wise how can i get the rock/goth-chick look?

I'd say if you're wearing a tartan waistcoat you need a plain coloured skirt or trousers. Go with plain black or black denim and then accessorize it up! Lots of silver! If you go with the skirt you might want to finish it off with some knee/thigh high black socks.

As for the make-up, remember less is more- even if you're a goth! Avoid slapping tons of pale foundation on your face. Instead use a light powder in a colour that matches your skin tone on your face. Then have fun with kohl eye makeup and mascara. Perhaps even try a coloured mascara- Urban Decay do an amazing electric blue one which isn't very expensive. To finish it off, there's nothing like a l**k of obscenely red lipstick!

You are mixing two styles there, tartan is punk, which is not goth, i think you are thinking more emo style, so it depends on colour of tartan and waistcoat, i'd go with skinny jeans and long boots over the top, or if you've got the legs for it and its a night out, hot pants all the way and cowboy boots! a rockin cowgirl.... that would look so funky.

I'd go for a slicked quiff, and black smokey eyes.

no hun it would not work....

instead....tartan skirts are very in at the moment so....wear one with thick opaque tights, nice simple shoes, a plain nicely cut top but no detail cos that will just clash and some rocky jewlerry like this-
