What to wear in London this summer?

I am studying abroad in London for two months this summer from june to august. I was hoping to pack not only for the weather but in an attempt to look like a local not just a stereotypical american. What are the trends today on the streets of london? Any suggestions?

Jeans and t-shirts are a fairly normal sort of thing to wear.

Gypsy skirts died a death about 4 years ago now!

I'm not sure about the trends, But when I visited London last summer, it was soo windy. So bring some warmish clothes.

Long, flowing gypsy skirts are always "in" in London I suppose. So are jeans. Whatever is hot in the US is probably hot here too I'm guessing.

Well I still love gypsy skirts- even if they so like... so like...like like died out 4 years ago, Helena. It must be the Muslim in me that loves to dress in long skirts.

find an online news paper from London, look at the people in the pictures. That's the advice i have for you. Unless you are talking about london ontario because I'm from there. haha...

Bring some jackets bc when i went there for summer it was pretty cold.
