What to wear in ireland, going in two weeks 30 yr old girl from NYC, with no irish fashion sense?

don't want to be overdressed, underdressed or just plain silly...anyone in ireland care to give me a quick fashion update? thanks!!!

just wera what you normally wear around town. but remember, it ussually tends to be rather cool over there so you probably nead to check their forcast when you are packing your bags.

I'm Irish, and my aunt jen is like really young and she says when going to Ireland dressin natural colors like brown greens and blacks. You shouldn't wear reds or any other bright colors because then you are just desperate s****. natural and not funky. O and they like shirts like kiss me im irish but never any insulting Irish Tees

jeans or sweat pants, legging, wrap around dresses big belts, pretty much anything!

wear what you would normally wear in NYC.

If you don't want to stick out like a sore thumb (ie look like an obvious american tourist) then don't wear anything that says "IRELAND" or "IRISH" on it.  Keep loud green to a minimum.  Dont wear those godawful aran sweaters or those colourful rain-macs that all americans wear here in Ireland.
