What to wear to a club?

my boyfriend and I are going to a music club that has varies live music acts and poetry readings in about a month. I think it's a nice place but I don't know for sure what the dress code will be. Any suggestions on what I should wear? Thank you!

Rocker chick: with black skinny jeans and a red belt

preppy: with a basic coloured skirt and a silver necklace

plain s**y: with red jeans or any red bottom and red hoops
