What to wear to a funeral?

All I have is this plain black dress with straps and I white cardigan. Would that be appropriate?

I haven't been to a funeral since I was a kid.

yes that would be very appropriate. maybe dress it up with pearls, and if you have any question of it being to short go with black tights/ panty hoes

That sounds good. You don't have to wear all black, but anything dark will work.
