What to wear to a murder mystery party?

My character is a strong-Catholic-background mother who has 15 kids. I need to wear the usual mother's attire of clothes, and i have no idea. Do you guys have any interesting ideas?

  1. "Mom" jeans you know, with a real high waist, maybe a collared shirt, and a chain around your neck with a cross on it. Then maybe a pair of flat shoes,  or something comfy that moms wear!!


  2. hair-pinned in a low bunn

    jewerly- a rosary or pearls

    apparrel -definitley white tunic or knit top conservative with at least quarter sleeves

    long skirt black or knee skirt with panty hose

    ugliest old flat shoes you can find
