Question:

What to wear to a wedding?

I was invited last minute to attend a wedding with one of my friends from a long time ago. We just got back in touch after like 9 years and she invited me to her wedding this Saturday.

I have nothing to wear!!! What is an appropriate outfit that I can wear as a guest to a wedding in a Catholic church?

Is this dress too fancy for a wedding??

 1. no...it's perfect for a wedding

 2. Oh please....nothing to wear? seriously...you can find something in your closet .... keep it something you can wear besides just the wedding.... you can thank me later !

 3. No it's not too fancy, it actually extremely cute!

 4. Nope not at all!! I say go for it. Now a days people wear all kinds of things to weddings noew! Just enjoy!!

 5. Too fancy, no. However, make sure you have a cover-up, because that doesn't cover your shoulders or back, and as such it would be inappropriate to wear to church.

 6. It's okay. I would wear a sweater over it or something though.

 7. I think that dress would be great, not too dressy at all.

 8. I think that is a lovely dress. The color is good, since you want to avoid all white (bridal) or all black (some people from on it). It looks as though there would not be a lot of clevage. I don't think that is too fancy at all. Good choice as long as it fits.

 9. Yes, they make sleeveless wedding gowns, but the bride gets an exception. Since you're not sure how conservative the church is (and Catholic churches range the entire spectrum), you should take a cardigan or shawl just in case you need to cover your shoulders for the ceremony. You can take it off at the reception. But it's better to be prepared in case the church is strict about modesty.

 10. It is a very pretty dress and if you like it wear it. As far as wearing something to cover you shoulders a pretty light weight sweater would be fine, But you don't have to worry about that dress in a Catholic church, that rule only applies to the wedding party. Some Catholic Churches would like to have the shoulders covered. Not too much anymore the brides are now wearing strapless dresses.

 11. no, it's beautiful!!
