What to wear to best buy interview?

i already had my first interview earlier today [i wore nice jeans and a cute top, with accessories. keep in mind i am a college student and i had class 20 min. later and work 30 min. after that]. now, they have called me back for a second interview with their general manager tomorrow night. what should i wear? i was thinking a really cute top with a black shrug so it is modest, a nice dark wash jean with no tears, and black heels. is this acceptable?

I would recommend you formal clothe for a job interview, when you go to a job interview is good to give a good impression of yourself so try not to wear jeans.

Try semi-formal/career type clothing for a job interview.

Black polyester and/or pin-stripe pants, a cute button up top, maybe a shrug over that and heels.

Do you have anything similar? Then wear it!!

You must have given some impression during your first interview... Normally jeans are not such a great idea to wear during an interview even if they are nice and clean and of course without tears other black trousers are definitely better!The meeting with the manager is the even more important one.. so you are right to say.. no low cut cleavage and not a lot of jewellery...I am sure he is looking more for self confidence, someone who is polite and can be professional, who doesn't dress unbecomingly.. and you are after all still a them and just act normal and nice and don't wear too much make up and hopefully you may get the job. A second interview is a good sign...xx

Something like this would be more suitable and still casual but nice it can also be a short sleeved blouse.. but meeting with the manager you should not wear jeans..

Honestly don't wear anything too revealing and I would stay away from jeans at all costs. Any kind of black slacks or kind of business-like attire will work. I've worked at Best Buy for years, and I've seen people show up in torn up shorts (not a good idea). I would say black slacks with a nice modest blouse will be fine. For the most part though if you have gotten through your phone interview and your second interview, then your GM interview is just a formal way of saying welcome to the company, here's how much we'll pay you and this is where you need to do your drug test. You've essentially got the job at that point, and you just need to make sure you don't put up too bad of an impression to the GM, which if you dress like you're going to a business meeting should be ok. Best thing my GM ever told me about some of the things people wear to the interviews: "Why don't these people understand, just wear your Sunday best and I'll be happy." Don't wear anything you wouldn't wear to church or in front of your grandma.
