What to wear to wedding?

I'm attending a wedding in October and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas about what to wear to it. It is at 5:30, outside, and the attire is "Cocktail and Jacket". I was thinking that I would wear a dress or something like that but I don't know exactly what yet so I would appreciate the help. Also I am a teen if that helps to choose something more age appropriate.

well its cocktail so i would dress up...also idk if where you live they have it but in the mall here theres a store called "cache" and its all dresses...

im also a teen so i would wear something you would wear to a formal

not prom because thats too dressy but like a short little dress in fall colors...

I think if you could find a cute dress with a sweater that matches you will be okay.

Well, since it's a fall wedding, I'd suggest jewel tones. Also, depending on the weather, a cardigan or peacoat over it.
