What to wear with a black beret?

I'm not sure what to wear with a black knit beret, like this one. Like what tops?

wear a navy and white stripe top and a navy pencil skirt with a wide waist belt to set it off

Try a pair of dark wash skinny jeans with a colored (deep yellow, maroon, purple, etc.) blouse and a structured blazer (if it's cold outside where you live). Add boots, ballet flats, or sandals (if it's warm where you live). Put on your knit beret and you're good to go. Tres chic. ;D
