What to wear with cowboy ?

Can I wear jean cutoffs with my half-calf boots? The shorts go down to just above my knee.... I can't find other jean shorts and it's too hot to wear real jeans! Other than that I have red shorts and a plaid shirt that's got red in it (I'm going to a Texas themed party). Advice??

If they are tight on your leg, then it is fine. But if they are like not tight on your leg then it would look stupid with the boots. You could just wear plain short jean shorts too. I actually ride horses and I wear shorts for most of the summer. It's not like you have to wear jeans or anything.

I would wear cowboy boots, jeans or cut offs, a red shirt and a red kerchief  (bandanna) tied around your neck cowboy style. For extra sprucing find yourself a large belt buckle and/or cowboy hat.

i'm in love with cut off shorts. that would be really cute. make sure they're faded and damaged looking.
