  1. You should write both an email and a typed, computerized letter to the person who interviewed you thanking him/her for his/her time. If you did not yet have the interview, you should simply thank that person for the acceptance of your application and then ask when you will be hearing from them to schedule an interview. Remember, the screening process can take a lot of time. Also, keep in mind they may already have many applications and have not gotten to yours yet. Therefore you should wait a couple of days, and if you still do not hear from them, you should consider giving them a call and gently remind them. Always when you call or email, make sure you ask to speak with a manager or the one in charge and put the email to the attention of the one in charge. Good luck.
