  1. A flatbar.


  2. A flat bar and hammer usually does the trick.  Hammer the 45 degree end under the ribbed portion and instead of prying it back and forth, move the pry bar left and/or right.

  3. A pry bar and a hammer, or a screwdriver, depending on how it was fastened.
