What topic can I choose for my sc.-practical work from English??

I'm from Ukraine actually... But that doesn't matter. I learn english as a second language and now I need a topic for my work. Just ' ve got no ideas ... =/

There are two topics that I cant take

1. British and American English differences

and

2. History of English language

They typically want a subject that relates to what their scientific work was, and your marks will be higher if you seek your adviser's advice.

how to improve the spelling and grammar of people who speak english language as their primary language?

~ some people only learn/speak english and not any other languages yet fail english classes
