What topic can I choose to present in my speech class?

Question

I have to choose a topic for my speech class, and teach my audience about my topic. for example , i can teach them how to cook, but i don't want to due this topic, what other topics do you know that are interesting to present ?

( have no clue what would be an interesting subject that i can teach to my audience in a classroom environment which takes only 6min)

Pick something that you are good at.  If you are good at sports, teach something from those sports.  (How to shoot a free throw, how to serve in tennis, etc.)  If you are good at cars, demonstrate how to change a tire.  (Handy knowledge for everybody)  How to play card games.  Proper exercise techniques.  How to drive a standard transmission.

There is no limit.  Just pick something that you are interested in or good at and run with it.

I agree, you should choose something that you are good at. In my Speech classes, I have had students teach the class how to pot flowers, how to gear up to snowboard, how to play the guitar, how to swing a golf club, how to set up starting blocks, how to perform something on powerpoint or photoshop, how to knit a sweater, how to cook a poptart, how to throw a discus, how to perform a dance move. The possibilities are truly endless! Think of something you do really well, and share that with your class.

Then, organize yourself so that first you have an introduction, next you show your audience what materials you'll need, then you slowly perform the task and show them step by step what to do, and finally you have a closing. Good luck!
