Depends on what world championships you are talking about.  The OP Pro is in Huntington Beach as is the International Surfing Museum.  The ISM is on 5th St one block over from Main Street and about 3 blocks from Pacific Coast highway.  There are also other national and international events scheduled at the HB Pier on a regular basis.
