Hi, Königsberg, Pilau, Memel are now in Russia or Poland. Since end of WW II its occupied from Russia and Poland.

You can find amber at the North Sea at the City of St. Peter Ording. And you can try at the Baltic Sea. The best places are on the east side. The very best places are east from Stettin (now Poland).
