  1. I don't think your stature is suitable for any sport in the Olympics.

  2. First, don't want to burst your bubble, but you do have fat - and you always will.  Being a girl or working out constantly has nothing to do with it.  If you didn't, you wouldn't have a rear end, and you wouldn't be able to go outside without getting extremely cold, even with mild temperatures.  Fat stores energy in your body when it needs something extra, so having fat is a good thing; only having too much is bad.

Second, if you would like to do sprinting, give it a shot!  Many a short person has starred in basketball, despite being told probably all their lives they weren't "built" for it.  If you don't enjoy your event, you will hate having to practice for it all the time, right?  Let you and/or your track coach decide if this is best for you, or if you are better off trying something else.

Sometimes we never learn we are good at something because we never tried it.  One of my friends had no idea he'd be a good bowler until he just tried it one day, and discovered he not only was good at it, but enjoyed it too.

Besides, you have nothing to lose, and will always ask yourself "What if..." if you don't at least try it.  So go for it!
