  1. Mining and medicine.

  2. Good money in mining and i lived with an air conditioner who raked it in...head up north in summer and you'll be minted!!

  3. There is a severe shortage of tradesmen in plumbing, electricians, doctors and the building trade.

If you come to Australia and want to work you need to make sure you have the correct visa. Not all visa's allow you to work when here.

  4. For Aussie skilled jobs off the Immigration website http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/index.htm

Or view occupations in demand here http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/general-s...

Also see the site http://www.workingin-australia.com - shows skills in demand plus what the salary is.

There is an Expo for Australia coming up - "Change your life and move to Australia!

Find your job at the Opportunities Australia Expo." see details http://www.expo-australia.com  - They state job offers are made at these expos for the skilled workers and they can also fast track your applications.

  5. Blondie is right, my  plumber  brother in law could work 7 days a week at the moment if he wanted to and I have a builder friend who   is not taking on any  new  jobs  until  early next year because he is so busy at the moment...... HOW SOON CAN YOU GET HERE :))))

  6. Practically all trades, especially plumbers and electricians

  7. my cousin went there fo 6 months with no trade and picked fruit helped with re roofing buildings loads of odd jobs and made enough to travel the whole of australia before his visa ran out.

  8. Builders, sparkies, diesel fitters.   Australia is feeling the trend of a few years ago when everyone decided to get a Uni degree and only a few got blue collar trades.  The mining industry sucks most of the tradies up as they can pay the most and are therefore most attractive.  However even they are struggling to get tradies

  9. Anything in medicine is highly sought after.

Other trades are need but are not in as high demand.
